In May 2023, we are joining forces with Maidstone Community Support Centre (MCSC) to host a new kind of networking event, designed to build strong relationships between businesses and nonprofits as they navigate the challenges presented by the current economic climate.

Called Community Connections, the free event will provide opportunities for organisations of all kinds to network, share their experiences and build resilience.

The informal morning session will also feature presentations by experienced professionals from both the business and not-for-profit sectors, who will share their knowledge and ideas with attendees. Funding for All’s Kerry Donati will be a guest speaker alongside Maidstone Community Support Centre’s Tad Taberer and our very own Neil Franklin. Each has their own unique take on the value of community connections and will provide practical advice and tips to listeners.

The event will take place at Maidstone Community Support Centre in Kent, where you will be treated to refreshments and snacks while you build new connections. You can also book ‘surgery sessions’ with our team, during which you can ask questions about your insurance needs to ensure you’re adequately protected against current and emerging risks.

Says Chris Knott Insurance Director Neil Franklin: “Strong and resilient professional networks are vital to maintaining healthy, happy communities. We created this event to facilitate networking within our own communities, with a view to helping nonprofits and businesses to build meaningful relationships that are beneficial to both parties over the long term.”
