      Insurance Claim Process

Although every claim is different, the claims process tends to include the following steps:

      1. Contact your broker: They will be able to walk you through the next steps and explain what happens in your specific case.
      2. Contact your insurer: They will ask for details of the claim as well as any information and documents they need to support your claim.
      3. Insurer review: The insurer will review the information provided and liaise with any third party insurers.
      4. Decision: The insurer will decide how the claim is to be processed and what payout you may receive, before arranging any payment and closing the claim.
